Scott Widener

President, Single Family

Scott Widener joined Crescent Communities in 2015 and was responsible for the startup of Fielding Homes. In his current role as President of the Single Family Business Unit, Scott oversees the Fielding Homes management team in Charlotte and Raleigh and is also responsible for the teams that manage Crescent’s single family assets across the country.

Widener is a 30-year homebuilding industry veteran responsible for over $3 Billion in construction including over 30,000 homes, community centers, clubhouses, theaters, restaurants and manufacturing facilities. Scott served in various senior management roles including Corporate Officer and Vice President of Construction and Land Development for Del Webb Corporation, and President of Pratte Building Systems, which employed over 2500 field tradesmen and manufacturing facility workers. This company supplied all building components and skilled labor services to construct the Concrete Foundations, Plumbing Systems, Rough Framing, and Finish Carpentry for over 5,000 homes per year in Arizona and Nevada.

Scott earned a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development and Finance from San Diego State University. 

Meet the Single Family / Homebuilding Team

Rob Davenport

Vice President, Finance

Rob is responsible for the financial performance for Fielding Homes. He performs financial analysis, market research, due diligence and support associated with capital deployment in the acquisition, development, and financing of residential real estate. Rob has 11 years real estate experience with GS Carolina LLC, KB Home,  and Mountain Real Estate Capital as Development & Asset/Investment Manager Rob has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and American History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

James Martin

Vice President, Single Family

James is responsible for community development in the Charlotte, N.C., region, including securing entitlements, land planning, amenity planning and construction, builder relations, property association management and infrastructure development. He serves on the board of governors for the Real Estate Building Industry Coalition. He is a member of CONNECT Our Future Housing Work Group, which is facilitated and staffed by the Centralina Council of Governments and the Catawba Regional Council of Governments. James has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from UNC Charlotte.  

Brian Olin

Vice President, Purchasing Operations

Brian is responsible for the division’s procurement and oversees the design studio. He directs strategic sourcing for the base home and option offerings,including value engineering, estimating, bidding, and contracting for all of Crescent’s new home construction labor and materials. He has 13 years real estate with KB Homes, Nigro Construction, Family Dollar and Extended Stay America as Regional Director of Purchasing, Manager of Design Centers and Director of Strategic Sourcing. Brian has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in  Accounting from State University New York State at Oswego.

Jonathan Helms

Vice President Construction Operations

Jonathan is responsible for the entirety of the division’s home construction operations. He has 14 years of real estate experience with Pulte Homes, Orleans Homes and Mattamy Homes as VP of Construction. Jonathan has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance from Appalachian State University.

Jumana Kayed

Vice President, Sales

Jumana is responsible for to developing the new home management and sales team. She identifies and develops talented people and creates a culture where those people thrive. Jumana is highly involved in strategic marketing, research, and final product development. She has 15 Years real estate experience with Del Webb, Pulte, Centex and Toll Brothers as Director Sales & Marketing, Area Manager and Community Sales Manager. Jumana holds Broker In Charge licenses in both North and South Carolina from Central Piedmont Community College.
