CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER

Tracy Chambers was promoted to Vice President & Chief People Ocer of Human resources in 2017. In this role, Tracy oversees all aspects of human resources and administration, organization development, culture change and workplace environment. Ms. Chambers joined Crescent in 2013 and previously held the positions of Manager of Organization Development and Director of Human Resource where she was responsible for leading culture transformation focusing on Crescent Values, providing strategic and day-to-day performance management guidance, leading employee relations and compliance matters, and driving internal communications.

Prior to joining Crescent, Tracy previously worked as the Human Resources Director for Ginkgo Residential in Charlotte, where she was responsible for nearly 800 employees in 100 different locations in the southeast. Early on in her career, she served as a Senior HR Generalist for CT Communications and Staffing Manager for CoreStaff Services.

Tracy is a certified Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte with a concentration in marketing. Tracy is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Employers Association in Charlotte.
