NOVEL Providence Farm by Crescent Communities Offers South Charlotte a Haven for Foodies
NOVEL Providence Farm
, Crescent Communities’
latest multifamily offering, will welcome its first residents on November 1. Located at 6408 Providence Farm Lane, the culinary inspired community is just steps from the recently completed Waverly
development in South Charlotte featuring Whole Foods Market, dining options ranging from fast-casual to upscale eateries and a unique blend of shops.
Every amenity space in NOVEL Providence Farm is designed to celebrate food, family and friends. The community has two outdoor grilling areas, a large saltwater pool, outdoor covered lounge areas, a dog park, a stand-alone fitness center building with a unique greenhouse-inspired design, and a full-size bar with a kegerator, a pool table, shuffleboard and ski ball. The community also features a skydeck with a grill, fire pit and seating that overlooks the entire Providence Farm and Waverly area. Another fresh touch is the landscaping, complete with edible plants, a fruit and nut orchard, community garden plots and an imported 8,500-pound oak tree.
Additionally, an on-site professional kitchen is equipped with high-end, professional-grade appliances and will be home to regular interactive chef demonstrations, wine tastings and mixology classes, designed by Executive Chef Taylor Kastl of Tayste Catering
. All programming will offer a welcoming approach to cooking with a focus on hyper-seasonal local produce and unique ingredients. Residents can reserve time to use the professional kitchen or borrow deluxe equipment to use in their own kitchens, such as a KitchenAid stand mixer, pasta maker, pizza oven or immersion blender.
“NOVEL Providence Farm is a unique, beautiful project designed for entertaining. I am excited to create educational programming to make cooking and gardening approachable and teach residents that it’s not intimidating to make chef-quality meals at home,” Kastl said. She also will incorporate sessions on accommodating food allergies and vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets.
Other events are focused on wellness and community-building, with yoga, barre and kickboxing classes in the greenhouse fitness center and herb planting, live music and seasonal activities such as pumpkin carving in the on-site garden. Guest farmers will visit the Providence Farm orchard and teach residents the basics of farming and cultivating seasonal produce.
“This takes fun, innovative living to the next level,” said Michael Tubridy, Managing Director for Crescent Communities multifamily business. “We want residents of NOVEL Providence Farm to feel like our community is more than just a place to live - it is a place that nurtures and inspires their passion for food, wellness, and community.”
NOVEL Providence Farm has 404 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 630-1,712 square feet.
