Charlotte, NC - (April 5, 2021) – Crescent Communities is pleased to announce the hire of Bryan Blythe as Managing Director of Industrial for the company’s Commercial business unit. In this role, Blythe will be responsible for leading and growing the industrial platform at Crescent Communities through new development projects and acquisitions across the southeast and southwest. The company’s industrial footprint today includes over $59 million under construction and an additional $35 million of development planned in 2021 and beyond. In total, Crescent Communities has developed 54 industrial projects since 1993, totaling nearly 11 million square feet and $442 million across the U.S.

Throughout his career, Blythe has overseen $267 million in 18 investments across four markets: Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Greenville, and Greensboro. Prior to joining Crescent Communities, he was a Market Officer at Prologis and held the same position at Liberty Property Trust prior to its acquisition by Prologis. There, Blythe was responsible for the operating performance of a 12.4 million square foot industrial portfolio and was involved in all capital deployment efforts across North and South Carolina. During his tenure with Prologis and Liberty Property Trust, Blythe worked on over 6 million square feet of acquisitions and new development projects valued at over $600 million.
