Set to Welcome Residents to its Latest Community: NOVEL NoDa by Crescent Communities Opens for Pre-Leasing

Crescent Communities’ newest multifamily community, NOVEL NoDa by Crescent Communities, is now open for leasing. The amenity-rich community is situated in Charlotte’s popular NoDa arts and entertainment district and offers 344 studio, one- and two-bedroom units with 7,600 square feet of street-level retail and restaurant space. An additional 22,000 square feet of retail is planned for Phase II, set to break ground this November.
Located at 424 East 36th St. in Charlotte, NOVEL NoDa has direct access to the 36th Street LYNX station. Just four stops from Uptown, the community offers unbeatable views of the Uptown skyline. On their way out, residents can grab locally brewed coffee and check train schedules in the relaxing Transit Lounge. NOVEL NoDa is packed with engaging community spaces, from the saltwater pool adjacent courtyard with lawn games to an open-air sky lounge overlooking Uptown and courtyard with a private beer garden. The retail-lined plaza connecting NOVEL NoDa to the light rail station also features a food truck park where residents can grab a convenient bite to eat.
Each apartment features modern, upscale finishes with unique lifestyle amenities to match. NOVEL NoDa caters to four-legged residents with a boutique pup park, pet salon and a treat bar in the clubhouse. The on-site 24-hour fitness center pays homage to NoDa boxing gym Ultimate Gym, which previously occupied the site, with a virtual boxing machine. Wood from the original gym facility is repurposed to frame local artwork throughout the community.
Crescent is partnering with local artists, including Goodyear Arts artists, Holly Keogh, Matt Hooker, William Puckett, Kyle Mosher, Jen Hill and Micah Cash to create original artwork that will be displayed throughout the community. Crescent is commissioning a football field-sized mural for the exterior of the building, facing the light rail station.
“NOVEL NoDa is a unique and thoughtfully-designed community in an exceptional location,” said Brian Natwick, president of Crescent Communities’ multifamily business. “We have incorporated innovative amenities tailored to the vibrancy of NoDa and are immersing ourselves into the neighborhood with community-driven artwork, an open and welcoming community plaza and fun and frequent programming for the entire neighborhood.”
NOVEL NoDa by Crescent Communities, which is proudly managed by Greystar, is hosting a VIP event on September 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Salud Cerveceria to offer a glimpse of how the new community will celebrate and offer easy access to the best of NoDa while enjoying live music, snacks and beer. The event is open to all prospective residents and the community. Greystar has plans for ongoing programming and community events for both residents and the public to enjoy, from craft beer tastings to hosting local artists and vendors, live music and more.
Last month, Crescent rebranded its multifamily business unit as NOVEL by Crescent Communities. The new brand identity compliments the company’s reputation for innovation and commitment to creating communities that are reflective of neighborhood culture.
