CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – (January 5, 2026): Crescent Communities, a nationally recognized, market-leading real estate investor, developer, and operator of mixed-use communities, today announced the sale of Elizabeth on Seventh to Invesco. Located at the iconic intersection of East Seventh Street and North Caswell Road in Charlotte’s historic Elizabeth neighborhood, Elizabeth on Seventh is a four-story, 100,500-square-foot Class A office and retail development.

Completed in 2022, Elizabeth on Seventh has quickly become one of Charlotte’s most desirable office environments, combining award-winning design with a thoughtfully curated mix of tenants that reflect the vibrancy and character of the surrounding community. The development includes 22,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and has achieved LEEDFitwel, and WiredScore Platinum certifications. It was also recognized with the Great Urban Architecture Award at the 2022 City of Charlotte Urban Design Awards and featured by the Urban Land Institute’s Crane Watch for its exceptional integration into the neighborhood fabric.

Elizabeth on Seventh’s diverse tenant roster includes a blend of national and local companies, including:

  • Integrated marketing and advertising agency lūquire

They join popular ground-floor retail anchors Barre3, Catalina Kitchen + BarRosemont Market & Wine Bar, and The Yard Milkshake Bar, which have made Elizabeth on Seventh a destination for professionals and neighborhood residents alike.

Designed with a pedestrian-friendly layout, modern architecture, and a neighborhood-scaled façade featuring masonry, metal, wood, and glass, Elizabeth on Seventh blends seamlessly into its historic surroundings while offering state-of-the-art amenities. Building highlights include a landscaped outdoor courtyard and 2nd-floor balcony overlooking North Caswell Road, convenient structured parking with direct office access from each tier, bike parking and proximity to the CityLYNX Gold Line Streetcar, and 10-foot ceilings with virtually column-free floor plates.

“The successful lease-up and sale of Elizabeth on Seventh underscores the sustained appetite for next-generation office spaces that combine flexibility, connectivity, and a sense of place,” said Brendan Pierce, President of Commercial at Crescent Communities. “Charlotte continues to distinguish itself as one of the Southeast’s most dynamic office markets, and Elizabeth remains one of its most desirable submarkets thanks to its walkability, local character, and access to talent. This is a testament to our team’s ability to anticipate how people want to work and to deliver places that inspire productivity, connection, and growth.”

In keeping with Crescent’s commitment to public art as a design priority, the development includes a mural of longtime Elizabeth resident and civil rights advocate Harry Golden. Created by Jeremy Biggers, an award-winning fine artist, designer, photographer, and filmmaker, this mixed-media installation honors Golden’s impact and involvement within Charlotte’s community during the Jim Crow era and celebrates the Queen City’s continued modernization.

Elizabeth on Seventh is owned in a joint venture with Faison Enterprises, Inc. Additional partners include BB+M Architecture (project architect), Choate Construction (general contractor), LandDesign (civil engineer and landscape architect), and Truist (construction financing). Alex Mann, Stephen Woodard, and Charles Thrift from Thrift Commercial Real Estate Services served as brokers.

In addition to its extensive multifamily and industrial presence in Charlotte, Crescent Communities currently owns several office and mixed-use developments in the region, including One Independence Center in the heart of Uptown and Escent Research Park in University City.
