ATLANTA (Sept. 14, 2026): Crescent Communities, a nationally recognized, market-leading real estate investor, developer, and operator of mixed-use communities, today announced the grand opening of NOVEL Douglasville, a new multifamily community located approximately 20 miles west of Atlanta in The Trails mixed-use development, adjacent to Great Point Studios' 500,000-square-foot film studio anchored by Lionsgate.

Sitting on 13 acres at The Trails by The Foxfield Company, NOVEL Douglasville consists of five four-story buildings, totaling 300 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Amenities include a resort-style pool and sundecks; a pond overlook with grills, firepit, and Adirondack-style seating; an open-air event and game lawn; a clubroom with a TV, cozy seating, full kitchen, and a covered porch with an outdoor fireplace; a coffee cafe and coworking space; a state-of-the-art fitness center; and pet amenities including a spacious dog park, dog-wash stations, and private dog-friendly areas. As part of The Trails, NOVEL Douglasville offers convenient access to 60,000 square feet of commercial and office space, hotel, and retail – all connected by walking paths. Located just south of I-20, NOVEL Douglasville also connects residents to the broader Metro Atlanta area, with easy access to Hartsfield-Douglas International Airport and regional employment hubs like WellStar Douglas Medical Center and Lionsgate Studios.

“The opening of NOVEL Douglasville marks another standout addition to Crescent Communities’ Atlanta portfolio,” said Eric Liebendorfer, Crescent Communities' Managing Director for Georgia. “As the city continues to grow and expand rapidly, we’re developing alongside it, with a footprint in Atlanta proper and across many of its suburbs.”

Crescent Communities’ development across the metro Atlanta area has continued to grow in recent years, in tandem with the city’s own growth. Crescent has continued to establish market footholds across these 11 counties, including the recent opening of HARMON Cedar Run (in Lawrenceville), ongoing construction at NOVEL Blandtown (in West Midtown), the groundbreaking at NOVEL Lulah Hills (in Decatur), and the land close at NOVEL Tucker (formerly RENDER Tucker). Legacy properties include MAA West Midtown (in Midtown), Tailor O4W (in Old Fourth Ward), Glenn Perimeter (in Sandy Springs), and Bell Terminus (in Buckhead). NOVEL represents Crescent Communities’ urban Class A multifamily brand, while HARMON is its single-family build-to-rent platform.

Financial partners on NOVEL Douglasville include CIBC, Great Southern Bank, and Phoenix Capital Management, LLC. Crescent Communities Construction served as the general contractor.

Leasing is underway at NOVEL Douglasville. For more information, visit noveldouglasville.com or call (770) 762-5126.
