SARASOTA, Florida (Dec. 3, 2025): Crescent Communities, a nationally recognized, market-leading real estate investor, developer, and operator of award-winning mixed-use communities, as part of a joint venture with FCP®, recently celebrated the official grand opening of RENDER Legacy Trail, a new 450-unit community nestled near Florida’s Gulf Coast. This new addition to Crescent’s growing RENDER portfolio brings modern, attainable luxury to Sarasota, one of the state’s most desirable coastal destinations. Crescent Communities celebrated RENDER Legacy Trail’s grand opening and officially opened its doors to the Nokomis community with a night market for neighbors featuring numerous local vendors.

Offering a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences, RENDER Legacy Trail combines upscale design and functionality with a relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere. Each apartment home features granite countertops, luxury plank flooring, large kitchen islands, Whirlpool stainless steel appliances, designer lighting, and private patios or balconies, all designed to reflect the region’s coastal charm. Spacious closets, mudrooms, and built-in desks in select homes add flexibility and convenience, creating residences that feel both stylish and effortless.

“RENDER Legacy Trail captures what today’s renters are looking for – comfort, connection, and character in a community that fits their lifestyle,” said Greg Minder, Managing Director for Central Florida at Crescent Communities. “Sarasota’s mix of natural beauty, recreation, and culture makes it an ideal setting for our RENDER brand, which focuses on best-in-class suburban living with a local feel.”

Residents enjoy an impressive lineup of thoughtfully curated amenities, including a heated saltwater pool with lounge seating; a fitness lawn with direct access to the Legacy Trail; outdoor kitchens and grilling stations for gatherings; a state-of-the-art fitness center with a spin studio; a clubroom with shuffleboard, TVs, and micro-offices for remote work; a dog park and multiple pet stations for four-legged residents; and EV charging stations, bike storage, and rentable garages for modern convenience. Located at the heart of Sarasota’s vibrant outdoor and cultural scene, residents can enjoy Oscar Scherer State Park, Siesta Key, and Venice Beach nearby where opportunities for kayaking, fishing, boating, or sunbathing abound. Shopping and dining are equally accessible, with Downtown Sarasota, Nokomis Village, UTC Mall, and local favorites like Fins at Sharkey’s, Pop’s Sunset Grill, and Rosebud’s Steak & Seafood House just minutes away.

Crescent Communities and FCP built the community as a joint venture, along with lending from Wells Fargo. Additional partners include Dwell Design Studio (architecture), EM Structural and Jordan & Skala Engineers (engineering), Focus Design Interiors (interior design), Kaufman Lynn (construction), Kimley-Horn (civil engineer), and LandDesign (landscape architect).

Crescent Communities has an impressive track record of delivering premium communities throughout Central Florida. Most recently, Crescent announced the land close and construction start at HARMON Wesley Chapel, a build-to-rent community outside of Tampa.  Crescent is currently leasing NOVEL Beach Park and NOVEL Independence Park in Tampa, and NOVEL Nona and NOVEL Parkway in Orlando.

Nationwide, Crescent Communities continues to experience significant growth with $7.2 billion of residential and commercial investments and developments in various stages of construction, operations, and planning. That pipeline includes 15,300 multi- and single-family build-to-rent units; 58,000 square feet of complementary retail space; and 7.5 million square feet of office, industrial, and life-sciences facilities. With a focus on environmental sustainability and wellness, Crescent Communities is a leading recipient of LEED, NGBS (National Green Building Standard), Fitwel, and WELL certifications.
