Feb 18 '22

Charlotte, N.C. – (February 18, 2022) – Today, Crescent Communities, a nationally recognized, market-leading real estate investor, developer, and operator of mixed-use and commercial communities, announces the first retail tenant at its forthcoming mixed-use community in Charlotte’s Elizabeth neighborhood, Elizabeth on Seventh: Rosemont Market and Wine Bar from the team behind popular Charlotte restaurants including The Crunkleton and Cheat’s Cheesesteak Parlor (both of which are also located in the Elizabeth neighborhood).

Rosemont Market and Wine Bar will offer breakfast, lunch, coffee, wine, and beer, plus full-service dinner, market items, catering capabilities, and grab-and-go meals. With 60+ seats to accommodate indoor dining and 40+ more on the patio, Rosemont Market and Wine Bar will serve as a gathering place for Elizabeth and Charlotte residents alike. Approximately half of the space will be dedicated to the market concept.

“We are thrilled to announce Rosemont Market and Wine Bar’s first location at Elizabeth on Seventh. Our team loves the Elizabeth neighborhood and is eager to extend our footprint there, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to do so in partnership with Crescent Communities,” says Blake Thompson of Red Mountain Management, a parent company of Rosemont Market and Wine Bar. “We named this concept after the Elizabeth neighborhood. Our team chose Rosemont because it’s the name of one of the original subdivisions in Elizabeth – in fact, it’s the one that this location faces directly across Caswell.”

Elizabeth on Seventh includes three floors of creative office space, exceptional top floor views of Uptown, several outdoor balconies, patio space on the ground floor, and an unparalleled location with convenient access to the central business district, I-77, I-74, I-277, and the CityLYNX Gold Line. Additionally, Elizabeth on Seventh offers additional ground floor retail opportunities complete with ample adjacent parking, especially helpful for night and weekend visitors, and outdoor dining spaces along a vibrant walkable street.

“We are excited that Rosemont Market and Wine Bar will be joining Elizabeth on Seventh,” says Elizabeth McMillan, Project Executive at Crescent Communities' Commercial Business Unit. “It will provide a variety of much-needed food and beverage offerings to the neighborhood and our future office tenants.”

Elizabeth on Seventh is being developed in a joint venture with Faison Enterprises. Additional partners include Truist (construction financing), Choate Construction (general contractor), BB+M (project architect), and LandDesign (civil engineer and landscape architect).

Renderings of the restaurant space can be viewed here and photos of the building’s progress, as of January 2022, can be viewed here.
