Crescent Communities Strengthens Central Florida Leadership with Appointment of Greg Minder as Managing Director
TAMPA (Nov. 10, 2025): Crescent Communities, a nationally recognized, market-leading real estate investor, developer, and operator of mixed-use communities, announced today that Greg Minder has joined the team as Managing Director, Central Florida. Based in Tampa, Minder will chart the course for strategy, development, and execution across Crescent’s growing multifamily presence in the heart of the Sunshine State.
Minder brings more than two decades of real estate development experience, with a passion for urban infill, placemaking, and creating long-term community value, particularly in the Tampa Bay area. Before joining Crescent, he served as President and Owner of intowngroup, where he played a hands-on role in shaping some of downtown Tampa’s most recognizable multifamily and mixed-use projects. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Developer for Holder Properties and The St. Joe Company, earning a strong reputation for partnership-driven leadership and a deep understanding of the local landscape. Beyond his development work, Minder has been an active civic voice in Tampa’s growth, including serving as Chair of the Tampa Downtown Partnership. In that role, he championed efforts to boost walkability, strengthen neighborhood connections, and elevate the overall urban experience. His combined public and private sector experience positions him well to lead Crescent Communities’ next chapter in Central Florida.
“Having spent most of my career working in and advocating for Tampa’s urban growth, I see a unique opportunity to shape what’s next – not just for the city, but for how people experience living here,” said Minder. “Crescent’s values around placemaking, intentional design, and long-term impact deeply align with mine, and I’m energized to help bring that approach to both Tampa and Orlando at a time when these cities are defining their next chapters.”
In his new role at Crescent Communities, Minder will lead multifamily efforts across Central Florida, including the continued expansion of the company’s NOVEL and RENDER brands in Tampa and Orlando – two markets where demand for high-quality, community-driven living continues to grow. NOVEL is Crescent's urban luxury brand, delivering upscale, experience-driven residential communities in vibrant city environments, while RENDER represents the company’s approachably designed offering – crafted to maintain Crescent’s high standards of quality and placemaking at a more attainable price point in the suburbs. In Tampa, currently leasing communities include NOVEL Beach Park, a premium high-rise community near Tampa Bay, and NOVEL Independence Park, a mixed-use residential community in the Westshore District. In Orlando, Crescent’s footprint includes NOVEL Parkway, a walkable, village-style community along International Parkway, and NOVEL Nona, a wellness-focused development in Lake Nona offering lifestyle-driven living centered on mind, body, and spirit.
“Greg’s influence on downtown Tampa’s evolution is undeniable,” said Jay Curran, President of Multifamily at Crescent Communities. “He brings a local perspective, strong development instincts, and the kind of leadership that turns great ideas into places people are proud to call home.”
Nationwide, Crescent Communities continues to experience significant growth with $7.2 billion of residential and commercial investments and developments in various stages of construction, operations, and planning. That pipeline includes 15,300 multi- and single-family build-to-rent units; 58,000 square feet of complementary retail space; and 7.5 million square feet of office, industrial, and life-sciences facilities.
