Charlotte, NC (August 26, 2021) – Crescent Communities is pleased to announce that its newest multifamily community, NOVEL LoSo Station, is now leasing with its first residents having moved in this week. The apartment community, located at 4015 Craft Street, features 344 apartment homes and an integrated LTH Coffee & Social gathering spot.

Conveniently located right next to the Scaleybark Station on the Lynx Blue Line, NOVEL LoSo Station offers studio, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom residences in a six-story brick building designed to complement the industrial architecture of the surrounding area. LoSo Station master development will include over 1 million square feet of corporate office space, a 150-key hotel, up to 45,000 square feet of retail, and 125 townhomes. The surrounding area has experienced a recent transformation from an aging industrial neighborhood to a top social and entertainment destination, easily accessed by light rail. Nearby attractions include the Brewery District, home to OMB, Victory, and Sugar Creek breweries, as well as entertainment and dining destinations, such as Queen Park Social and Sauceman’s Barbeque and Grill. Most recently, Gilde announced plans for The Embassy at Gilde Brewery and local restaurateur, Biride Yang announced plans for additional establishments to come just footsteps from the community.

“We are excited to officially open our doors at NOVEL LoSo Station as well as welcome LTH Coffee & Social as a third space for this community,” said Ashley Peterson, Development Director. “We are also proud to continue our partnership with Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee, bringing their first cafe to North Carolina at NOVEL LoSo Station, and building a sense of community and connection to our residents and the greater neighborhood.”

Alongside high-end unit finishes such as custom painted cabinetry, Samsung appliances, and smart apartment technology, NOVEL LoSo Station will feature two spacious courtyards with a saltwater pool, an abundance of interior and exterior amenity space, a true co-working area with individual offices, a skydeck club with views of the Charlotte skyline and grilling areas, a two-story fitness center, 24/7 package access, concierge-level service, and convenient and direct access to the light rail.

In addition to the residential component of NOVEL LoSo Station, the integrated LTH Coffee & Social will serve as a meeting spot for residents and visitors to come together, enjoy food and beverage offerings, and make connections. The 2,500-square-foot café is located at the front entrance of the building and seamlessly integrates with the community leasing spaces.

Designed to be the third place gathering spot of NOVEL LoSo Station, residents can stop in LTH Coffee & Social for a coffee, afternoon beer, versatile co-working spaces, and live music programming. Along with artisanal coffee crafted with beans sourced from the brand’s independent network of Rwandan coffee farmers, the cafe will feature more than 16 local beers and kombuchas on tap. Starting off the rotation will be a Lenny Boy Coffee Blond Ale that was brewed in partnership with NOVEL using Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee beans. The café will also offer a diverse selection of handcrafted pastries, breakfast croissants, and flatbreads on its all-day food menu.

"Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee was founded on the mission of cultivating flourishing communities, both amongst our partner farmers in Rwanda and surrounding our cafes here in the United States,” said Jonathan Golden, Founder of Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee. “LTH Coffee & Social at NOVEL LoSo Station is a place where friends, families, and co-workers can gather morning, noon, and night—from taking a quiet moment to start the day together over cups of specialty coffee to swapping stories over pints of beer fresh from the tap in the evening. We can’t wait to serve you at our first community in Charlotte."

Crescent Communities Construction served as the general contractor for NOVEL LoSo Station. Additional design and construction partners include Dwell Design Studio, Historical Concepts, LandDesign, CID and Dix.Hite+Partners.
