Wanderwall: From Parking Garage To Public Art

Crescent has hired Brooklyn-based artist Marc Fornes to commission one of the city's largest pieces of public art, "Wanderwall," which will cover 18,000 square feet of the parking garage at Novel Stonewall Station. Fornes is known for his creation of whimsical structures carefully engineered from thin pieces of metal. Installation of the piece will begin early next year. Read more about Wanderwall here

When complete, Novel Stonewall Station will consist of 459 apartments, a Whole Foods, two hotels, among other retail, and is one of a handful of new development projects helping to close the gap between South End and Uptown in Charlotte.
